Anchored in Toronto, this part-time and hybrid remote program is an immersive learning experience aimed towards the completion of a fully accessible production based on the experience of ‘Veteran Reintegration’, in both documentary & podcast formats.
During a 20 week timeline building out the Veteran centered content, this program will be introducing and uplifting the skills of Veterans, EI Recipients, and those who identify as Disabled. Through the immersive learning experience in accessible media production, participants will be working in teams within storyline development, social media, accessibility in media, podcast recording, captioning, and video editing. All levels of experience and skill are welcome to apply this new and exciting opportunity!
The program consists of free job experience in Accessible Media production both in person and virtually at The Disability Channel Studios (TDC).
To qualify for the program, you must be currently receiving Employment Insurance (EI) or have received or contributed to (EI) within the last 5 years.
